The first unit of the GM PETRO network, Vilarinho Gas Station in Belo Horizonte, MG, started its activities in 1985, receiving this name due to the street where it is located. For the development of the GM PETRO brand, the idea was to create an attractive, impactful, modern logo that would clearly and objectively evoke the concept of fuel.
