The gas station floor plan is the foundational document for permitting \u2014 required by the municipality, the environmental agency, and the ANP. It is the bird’s-eye view that defines whether a proposed site is technically feasible before any ground is broken. The Petrol Group team<\/a> has produced hundreds of gas station floor plans across 16 countries.<\/p>\n

What the floor plan must show<\/h2>\n

Fueling island positioning (with pump dimensions and minimum clearances), underground tank locations (with depth, capacity, and bicameral specification), vehicle circulation lanes (minimum turning radius for trucks at highway sites), convenience store and restroom building, forecourt drainage system (channels, catchment points, oil\/water separator location), minimum setbacks from property boundaries, and pylon\/totem position.<\/p>\n

Minimum setback requirements<\/h2>\n

ABNT NBR 15526 and ANP resolutions define: tank fill points \u2014 minimum 4m from any building, minimum 1m from property boundary; dispensers \u2014 minimum 3m from property line, minimum 4m from buildings. All setbacks must be dimensioned clearly on the floor plan.<\/p>\n

Yes \u2014 must be signed by a licensed engineer or architect with ART (CREA) or RRT (CAU) registration.<\/p>\n
