FUEL STATION VISUAL DESIGN
GM PETRO
OVERVIEW
The first unit of the GM PETRO network, Vilarinho Gas Station in Belo Horizonte, MG, started its activities in 1985, receiving this name due to the street where it is located. Petrol DESIGN was hired to develop a logo for the gas station network, which would begin in 2017 with this particular gas station as its first unit.

LOGO DESIGN
For the development of the GM PETRO brand, the idea was to create an attractive, impactful, modern logo that would clearly and objectively evoke the concept of fuel. The chosen colors were blue, red, and white, which would further enhance the visual appeal of the logo.
3D VISUAL IDENTITY
In the development of the visual communication for the gas station, the focus was on incorporating slightly rounded elements, ensuring a prominent placement of the logo on the canopy, designing an eye-catching totem, creating a price sign that stands out, and utilizing neutral colors for the columns. The overall goal was to achieve a clean and appealing visual that instills trust in the consumer.
DESIGN STANDARDS
With the visual design of the Vilarinho gas station approved, we concluded the project by delivering a descriptive memorandum that includes measurements, views, and detailed information about materials, colors, textures, and lighting.
