COMBOIO GAS STATION
OVERVIEW
The architectural design of the Comboio gas station in Unaí, MG, is an ambitious initiative aimed at redefining the concept of fuel stations. Integrating innovation, functionality, and contemporary aesthetics, the station is strategically located to attract a wide range of customers. We designed this station to be a landmark in the region, combining a modern design with an integrated commercial center.

PRELIMINARY STUDY AND EXECUTIVE PROJECT
In the preliminary study, we analyzed the best solutions for integrating the station with a commercial center, maximizing the potential of the site. Additionally, we planned the layout of the station to ensure efficient vehicle and pedestrian flow, with clearly defined areas for fueling and additional services. In the executive project, we detailed each component of the station, ensuring ample parking to facilitate access and accommodate a large number of vehicles. We designed the layout to optimize space and ensure smooth circulation.
Moreover, we included the construction of rental stores, creating additional business opportunities and enhancing the customer experience. We strategically positioned these stores to maximize visibility and access. The station is also integrated into a commercial center, providing a convenient shopping experience for customers and carefully planning this integration to ensure harmony between the fueling areas and the commercial stores.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
We designed the Comboio station to offer a superior experience to customers, with a functional and aesthetically pleasing layout. We defined the fueling areas clearly, equipping them with modern and efficient pumps. Additionally, we incorporated spaces for additional services, providing greater convenience to customers.
The architectural design is characterized by clean lines, geometric shapes, and creative use of materials, creating a space that is both functional and visually impressive. We used clear and effective signage with elements that reinforce the station’s visual identity. Informative totems and directional signs guide customers effectively.
We highlight the Comboio Station as a unique structure with an innovative and bold design. Additionally, we expertly applied the chosen color palette—black, red, and white—throughout the building, creating a striking and sophisticated visual contrast. We predominantly used ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) to ensure a modern and durable finish, giving the station an elegant and contemporary appearance.
